During the 43rd epidemiological bulletin of the city of Rio, the City of Rio de Janeiro presented a new level of risk classification of covid-19 in the city. According to the data, the 33 Administrative Regions (ARs) are at a low level of disease transmission.
The municipal health secretary, Daniel Soranz, explained that the new classification is in accordance with the state’s risk map. Last Thursday (28), the state survey, for the first time, presented municipalities with a “very low” rating and one of them is the capital.
“This classification is in line with the state risk map, which brings low risk for the entire state and very low for the capital and other cities in the Metropolitan Region. We didn’t imagine that we would have as low a risk as we have now. Therefore, in our newsletter, we created the low risk category”, said Soranz.
