The Federal Police (PF) arrested, this Friday (3), in Brasília (DF), the pocket blogger Wellington Macedo, one of those investigated in the investigation that investigates anti-democratic acts and acts against the institutions. Requested by the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), the arrest was ordered by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF).
Macedo is suspected of organizing the coup protest that has been summoned by pocketnaristas for the next 7th of September. Among other things, he published videos on social networks encouraging the performance of the act, the invasion of the STF and defending the impeachment of magistrates of the Court.
The investigation that runs in the STF had already resulted in the fulfillment of a search and seizure warrant against the blogger in August because of this.
The PF is searching this Friday to arrest truck driver Marcos Antônio Pereira Gomes, known by the nickname “Zé Trovão”. A target of the same inquiry, he was also hit by the PF last month on suspicion of helping to articulate the extremist demonstration.
Both Macedo and Zé Trovão had already been banned from using social networks, but, according to a complaint made by the newspaper O Globo on the last 31st, they were together in a broadcast aimed at publicizing the coup-like protests.
The live in question, broadcast on Youtube, was conducted by blogger Oswaldo Eustáquio, who is also being investigated by the PGR because of protests of an anti-democratic bias.
