Lula would win Bolsonaro by 51% to 32% if election were

Former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) would defeat Jair Bolsonaro (no party) in the second round if the 2022 elections were held today. This is what a survey disclosed this Wednesday (28), carried out by Futura Inteligência in partnership with Modalmais, points out. The survey collected the voting intentions of 2006 people from the five regions of the country between the 23rd and 26th of July.

According to the poll, Lula would have 51.3% of the votes in the second round for the presidential elections, while the current president would have 32.9%.

If the second round were between Lula and Ciro Gomes (PDT), the PT would have 45.5% of preference, against 25.4% of the former governor of Ceará. The survey also simulated a third scenario, between Ciro and Bolsonaro, with an advantage for the first, from 46.6% to 33.1%.

::Lula increases the advantage over Bolsonaro and would have 58% against 31% in the 2nd round, says Datafolha::

The survey released on Wednesday is in line with all those carried out over the past three months. In the latest poll released by the Datafolha Institute, for example, 20 days ago, Lula appeared with 58% of voting intentions in an eventual runoff against Bolsonaro. The current president would have 31%.

In a CNT/TDMA survey released earlier this month, in a possible runoff between Lula and Bolsonaro, the former president would have 52.6%, compared to 33.3% for the current occupant of the Palácio do Planalto. In this scenario, 11.5% would vote blank or null.
