This Sunday (7), the wreckage of the plane where the singer Marília Mendonça and four other fatal victims of the accident that occurred last Friday (5) was removed. Investigations into the fall of the twin-engine in the rural area of Piedade de Caratinga (MG) are advancing, despite confirmation that the aircraft did not have a black box (a device that records aircraft data, sounds and conversations that occurred throughout the flight) . The survey is expected to be completed in 30 days.
The Civil Police announced that the investigation was completed on the spot and that it must now hear eyewitnesses. Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (Cemig) confirmed that, 500 meters from where it fell, the aircraft – which came from Goiânia – hit the cable of a distribution tower of the company.
