Starting this Wednesday (29), the cariocas who use the subway to take the second dose of the vaccine against covid-19 will receive a free trip. The Metrô Rio campaign is called “Movimento Estação Vacina” and intends to support vaccination in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
To guarantee the benefit, it will be necessary to present proof of vaccination, accompanied by an identity document with photo and CPF. The gratuity is valid only for the day of application and can be requested at any of the 41 stations or at Metrô na Surface. The campaign runs until December.
“We want to encourage the population and make more people seek the second dose of the vaccine. More than releasing a ticket, we want to reinforce that the way to resume life together is to protect public health”, explained Guilherme Ramalho, president of the concessionaire.
📌 To participate, the passenger must present, at the turnstile, proof of application of the second dose and an identity document with photo and CPF.
