It was approved in the first round, in the plenary session this Tuesday (5), in the Legislative Assembly of Paraná (Alep), the proposal that creates the State Program of Income Transfer (PETR). Proposed by the Executive power, the project provides for the amount of R$ 80 for families in a situation of social and economic vulnerability.
The program will be carried out with resources from the Paraná State Fund for Combating Poverty, the Childhood and Adolescence Fund and any other resources intended for social assistance security for the survival and income of families in a situation of economic vulnerability.
Program expenses are subject to budgetary and financial availability established in the annual budget laws. The State Secretariat for Justice, Family and Labor (SEJUF) will be responsible for coordinating and managing the program.
The project considers economically vulnerable families to be those with a monthly per capita family income of up to R$ 178.00 (poverty) and R$ 89.00 (extreme poverty). federal income transfer program, Bolsa Família.
According to the project, the granting of benefits is temporary and does not generate an acquired right, and the eligibility of families to receive it must be reviewed every 90 days.
