O Brazil in fact this week launched another special tabloid on relevant topics in the daily lives of workers in the country. The edition that circulates for free this week in Brazil has a single agenda: anti-racism.
This Saturday (20), Brazil celebrates Black Consciousness Day. The newspaper explains the origin of the date, recalls the historical achievements of the black population and provides revealing data on the advances and limits of the fight against racism in the country.

Page 3 shows how Jair Bolsonaro’s (non-party) government attacks the rights of the black population in different ways.
Our team also selected three common phrases, which may sound naive, but which fuel racism.
The back cover reinforces the call for anti-racist protests on the 20th and features tips from books and films on the subject.
The cover illustration is by black artist Bárbara Quintino.
500,000 tabloids will be distributed free of charge in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Paraíba, Bahia, Pernambuco, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte and the Federal District.
