While rejection has increased, the assessment that the government is “good” or “great” has decreased: from 27% to 25%, compared to the previous survey, carried out two weeks earlier.

According to the publication, Bolsonaro is at its lowest point in the population’s assessment, but remains stable thanks to the faithful support of 1/4 of the electorate.

In another survey, carried out by the Ipespe Institute, the level is 55%: it is the highest percentage analyzed since January 2019, when Bolsonaro assumed the presidency.

Elections 2022

If the October 2022 presidential elections were held this Wednesday, former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) would win Bolsonaro, by 56% to 33% in the 2nd round, according to the PoderData poll.

The difference between the two, of 23 percentage points, remains stable within the margin of error in relation to the last round of the poll, released at the beginning of the month, when 55% of those interviewed said they would vote for Lula, against 30% who preferred the former army captain.

The same survey shows that the PT would beat all the names that were placed in second round simulations, with great advantage. They are: João Doria and Eduardo Leite, from the PSDB, Luiz Henrique Mandetta (DEM) and Ciro Gomes (PDT). The current president would lose to everyone.

The research was carried out through calls to cell phones and landlines. There were 2,500 people interviewed, in 451 cities spread across the 27 units of the federation, between the 27th and 29th of this month.

If Lula went to the second round with any of the Tucano names, the result would be the same, according to PoderData: 53% to 15%, with 30% of blank or null votes and 2% undecided.

In the survey carried out by the Ipespe Institute, the scenario is repeated: Lula would win in all the first and second round scenarios if the elections were held today.

In the first round, Lula would have 43% of the voting intentions, ahead of Bolsonaro (28%), Ciro Gomes (11%), João Doria (5%), Luiz Henrique Mandetta (4%) and Rodrigo Pacheco (2% ).

In another scenario, this time with more candidates, the leadership position remains: Lula (42%), Bolsonaro (25%), Ciro (9%), Sergio Moro (7%), Mandetta (3%), José Luiz Datena (3%), Eduardo Leite (3%), Simone Tebet (1%), Rodrigo Pacheco (1%) and Alessandro Vieira (0%).

For the second round, Lula would win Bolsonaro 50% of the voting intentions against 31%. Against Moro, by 53% to 34%; against Ciro Gomes, by 49% to 30%; Eduardo Leite, 49% to 30%; and, against Doria, by 50% to 27%.
