In Acre, the Ashaninka people use their traditional knowledge to manage and preserve seeds of rare species from the Brazilian Amazon. That’s what you’ll check out on the Bem Viver TV show this Saturday (4).
“Our main objective is to ensure that we have a strategy to protect this matrix, keep this forest standing and intact, collect seeds and distribute this seed wherever it is needed”, says Francisco Pyâco, Ashaninka indigenous leader.
The Amazon is also in Food is Health, which presents the benefits of the Amazon piquiá, a fruit rich in good fats that helps regulate hormonal functions and blood glucose levels.

The Cultural Mosaic shows the legend of Ratambufe, which moves the cultural life of the municipality of Ubatuba, on the coast of São Paulo.
